Down here it's hard to separate things as we're in the fray; up there we get a View from Above as to what is really going on down here.

Help is on the Way

| Beneficial |
Any outside work scheduled to be done has come to a complete halt.
We're all used to the weather but continued, oppressive dark skies and torrential rainfall are bound to slow you down and get you down.
There is a bright side to all of this gloominess and it's that during these times we're being constrained is when we're best able to get in touch with ourselves.
The weather has a lot to do with our moods but so does the cosmos and this month, to add to the deep self examination we are being compelled to undergo, six planets are going retrograde.
When a planet goes retrograde it releases powerful energy onto the planet that can stimulate and create situations and events.
We're all caught up in a current of planetary change, whether we like it or not.
The best thing to do during this time is quiet our fear (thus the deep introspection) as we realize that these changes that are coming are beneficial and lifting the veil of darkness we've been living under for thousands of years.
It's like how you feel after looking at the sun after a period of rain:
Relief.

Relax, Prepare, Rest and Renew

| A Mother Bird Feeding Her Baby |
I'm enjoying my morning watching a mother bird feed her baby.
This is just one example of the rhythm of life on this planet called Nature.
Another is The Seasons:
The seasons come and the seasons go but with each, a different theme:
Summer (Relaxation)
Fall (Preparation)
Winter (Rest, Reflection)
Spring (Renewal).
If we pay attention to these changing landscapes we'll become more attuned to the messages they have for us.
All we need to do is wake up and smell the roses.
Take time today to step out of your cocoon and look around you.
Whether we live in the city or in a rural community, nature is all around us.
A walk in the park, a visit to a farm or an arboretum, a picnic lunch under a giant oak or growing a garden.
Stop alongside the road and collect a bunch of yellow daisies or purple phlox and bring them home to enjoy.
Listen to the wind, dance in the rain, smile at the sun, start a campfire in the deep dark woods, sit around it with loved ones toasting marshmallows and telling creepy stories.
There are many ways to connect with Nature.
The important thing is to connect!
