No Fear

I just felt a presence pass right through me

It passed through me as easily as a drop of water rolls    off a leaf after summer’s rain

It passed through me as easily as a knife slicing through warm butter

It passed through me as easily as running a comb    through long, flowing tresses

Its unheralded visit made me pause what I was doing

A tall grand and stately being that towered at least 6 feet over me

I could not see its face as it was shrouded

It was clothed in a long soft gray hooded cloak

It made no Sound

I could feel its energy

And I was unafraid

It was just passing through

A sojourner, perhaps, who had just completed a journey and

  was making its way back home

Who happened by for a brief rest

It was neither male nor female

  but comprised of both genders

Masculine and strong yet soft and Feminine

I loved the feeling it left within me

I hope it passes this way again

Going Down

I'm feeling moody and depressed.  Could it be the Full Moon on Friday the 13th and the fact that Mercury is in retrograde?  Could it be today's thunderstorms?  Maybe...I'm not one to spout off that what we're seeing happening across the planet is the beginning of End of Days, but all the calamities taking place in the world and wrong being the new norm while right takes a hike does seem to warrant some scrutiny.   Here in America we have a lawless president and a lapdog Congress.  If it feels good, do it.  Don't even think of the possibility of any harmful consequences.  And no one is offering solutions to solve anything.  The rich and powerful are more arrogant now as they wield their battle axes, intimidating, harassing and downright threatening average Americans.    You can't even pick up the phone to tell someone you disapprove of something because nobody's listening.  All the while Evil continues its bold march while Good seems to be receding into the background.  I think this entire planet is on the cusp of something.  Someone or some thing is going to push us all over the edge.  Something appears to be coming to a head.  A conclusion of some sort.  We're all being squeezed and squeezed till there is nothing left of us to squeeze.  Maybe this is why Evil has ramped up its attack.  Evil has had its way for a very long time but maybe, just maybe, it knows that this time is different.  It knows somehow that it is going down, permanently.  That could account for why we're seeing so much unprecedented chaos and misery occurring everywhere.  Evil knows its time is just about up.  There is a saying, "These are the times that try mens souls."  Very true.  But just as true is another adage:  "If Evil is the Disease then Prayer is the Antidote."

I have my doubts anybody will read all of this or respond, but I do believe this, so I am posting regardless... For all my friends, whether close or casual, just because, One of the longest posts I will ever do.. and the most real, too.
Everyone will go through some hard times at some point. Life isn't easy. Just something to think about...did you know the people that are the strongest are usually the most sensitive?
Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated?
Did you know the ones who take care of others all the time are ...usually the ones w...ho need it the most?
Did you know the three hardest things to say are I love you, I'm sorry, and Help me? Sometimes just because a person looks happy, you have to look past their smile and see how much pain they may be in.
To all my friends who are going through some issues right now--let's start an intention avalanche. We all need positive intentions right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. May I ask my friends wherever you might be, to kindly copy and paste this status for one hour to give a moment of support to all those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares.
Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my friends just for moral support. I know some will!! I did it for a friend and you can to.

Look Within

We fell the stately tree
In our brash, unmindful spree
We plane it
Turn it into a door
Or piece it together to form fancy floor
How sad
But have you ever bothered to take a look
At engravings concealed in its nooks and crooks?
They’re embedded deep in this wood-grained art
Forgotten mosaics of some broken heart?
Quirky spirals peering out at you
We silently observe, but still have no clue
These bashful phantoms are everywhere
When we’re tucked into bed
When we’re combing our hair
Also, when sitting upon the throne
In that small little room, quite all alone
But no, we’re not
We're under their spell
Watching and waiting for whom the toll bells
Because that door,
   the one we've closed a thousand times before
Is staring us down and now we see
A snarly dragon, a cup of tea
Could it be they’re prodding us
To get off the couch, get off our duff?
Get out of that easy chair
Take head out of book
You have many friends if you’ll only just look
