R-E-S-P-C-T

When are we going to wake up and wise up?  When are we going to stop the manipulation and lies  and incessantly using others for personal gratification?  When are we going to realize that the most precious natural resource on this planet is us?   When are we going to stop hurting one another?  When are we going to stop killing one another?  What happened to civility, courtesy and respect among all of us?  When are we going to stop gang-banging, looting,  rampaging and pillaging?  When are we going to stop blaming others for every damn thing that happens to us and start taking responsibility for our own decisions, our own actions?  When are we going to stop drinking ourselves to death and sticking needles in our arms?  Where are those (and you know who you are) who know all too well what is going on, but remain silent?   When are we going to understand that human life is something to be revered not severed?  Is it really going to take a massive wake up call for humanity to get its act together?  Will this wake up call be just a little too late?  If we are confronted with this wake up call and there is much pain and suffering involved, who will we blame?  The government?  The media?  Our neighbor?  Or, ourselves?  Will you heed my call?  Will you take a good hard look at where you are, right now and do a critical assessment of your life, your priorities, and how you believe you can make a difference in this world and on this planet?  We are not blips on a radar; we are not rag dolls flailing helplessly around.  We are human beings with a purpose in life, with minds and souls who know good from evil and right from wrong.  Are we courageous enough to make the decision we know we should make?  When are we going to come together, as One and confront and combat the misery we're all suffering under?   I hope the politicians are reading this because of all the users on this planet, they top the list.
