Blood Moon, Full Eclipse in Aries - October 8, 2014, 3:51 a.m PDT and 6:51 a.m. EDT

Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac.  The symbol of Aries is the Ram. (Ramming speed, ram it down your throat, a bill was rammed through congress, the matador was rammed by the bull, one ship was rammed by another) Aries is ruled by the planet Mars and in Roman mythology Mars stood for The God of War. Aries' energy can be turbulent, (hot tempered, flagrant, tempestuous and impatient).     Keep a lid on things.  Watch your step.  Don't bite off more than you can chew. Watch out for accidents.  And, more importantly, keep an eye on national and world events and what's happening in your own neck of the woods.

The Tower Card in Tarot:   The Tower Card is ruled by Mars and is about the lies shielding us from the Truth.  It is about Change and Upheaval not necessarily bad but something that may come about without warning and being unprepared, is something we will be forced to confront.  It could be a belief system or a relationship that proves to be false or unhealthy.  Now we're shocked and surprised. Hence the tower being struck by a lightning bolt (that came out of nowhere). Our perception of what we once believed in is shattered. We are now forced to undergo or initiate a new reassessment of the situation we find ourselves in.   This can also be a time for institutions and leaders to take a tumble.  This can also be a time of probing deeper inside ourselves, sorting out the how comes and whys.  This can be uncomfortable but may be the right time for a relationship to end as it is not meaningful anymore or we may find ourselves drifting away from a belief system--something we once thought we believed in and trusted, but now decide it has no place in our lives.
