It now appears, according to some reports, that the Coronavirus is morphing into different strains.
We are finding out how woefully unprepared we were for what's happening and doctors and governments are scrambling in an all out effort to make masks and ventilators and finding a cure.
I talked to a store manager yesterday and he relayed information that Walmart is planning a massive hiring event in order to keep trucks stocked and deliveries on time.
After this is over and I believe it's going to be many months before it is, we are all going to breathe a big sigh of relief.
Right now there are seven of us hanging out at my house and, occasionally tempers flare due to being cooped up. But all in all I'd say we're all handling it pretty darn well. What else we gonna do??
In order to keep a healthy balance during this time it's important that each household member is instructed as to their duties as all the work cannot fall on one person.
For example, picking up dirty clothes, stacking and running the dishwasher, doing the laundry, cleaning bathrooms.
Teamwork is definitely needed and will make a big difference in how we get through this challenge.
Playing board games to relieve stress and letting off steam over dinner by talking with one another is really helpful and inspiring as no one is glued to their cell phone or tablet.
It doesn't hurt to have some beer or wine on hand either as it reduces tension and stress and is a nice way of ending a very busy day.
Many of us have the mistaken belief that we can handle anything that's thrown at us. This is an admirable quality and one we all need but the reality is, there will be times when you need a little extra help.
