Wrong Turn

I've watched a number of Zombie Apocalypse movies over the years but I never gave a second thought to actually living through one.   

Interesting that humans are now experiencing a horrific event and all because of a tiny organism wreaking havoc on earth.

Sound familiar? 

We are used to living our lives and doing pretty much what we want to do to one degree or another but now I believe our lives have been changed forever.

We're moving into brand new territory with a brand new set of rules and regulations.  

It's not helpful that China has been so vehemently dishonest with the world about the affects of this virus and how many deaths are/were to be expected.  In fact, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has gone out of its way to lie and point fingers at others as responsible for what we're seeing now.

Instead of making a U-Turn, China made a Wrong Turn.    

How many more months before the virus dies out?  --We just don't know.  Is it possible to get reinfected?  --We just don't know.

Because of China's inability to swallow its pride and put the safety and well being of others first, scientists are scrambling to keep up with the virus as it evolves, scratching their heads, frantically searching for a cure.   

I've posted my feelings and beliefs as to why this is all happening and want to share another piece of information that affects us too.

We all know what pride is and how hard it is to swallow.  All of us have problems with admitting we're wrong or apologizing. 

But now I have to say that it's that very thing (pride) that brought this whole thing upon us.     

We have very powerful people in very high, powerful positions in the world who fault the rest of us for screwing up but when it comes to them, personally, they can't admit they made a mistake or did anything wrong.

So, whatever the problem is they created, they cover it up (because it's an embarrassment) and don't take the steps necessary to deal with it, thus putting the rest of us at risk.    

Such is with China in which they knew/didn't know, falsified/skewed the dates the accident/bio weapon incident happened, where it happened or didn't happen and have silenced through threats, imprisonment and murder, those people courageous enough to try and get the truth out.      

So here we are with a monstrosity the world has never seen before that is wreaking havoc on countries, people and economies.

I don't know how long we're going to be in this mess but believe we need to prepare for the long haul.
