December 21st is the start of the Winter Solstice in the northern hemisphere.

Both Jupiter and Saturn are referred to as male planets.
Jupiter is the Planet of Expansion meaning increased spiritual awareness and positive vibes enabling and directing you toward a life of health happiness, joy and abundance.
Saturn, on the other hand is the Planet of Restriction and Limitations and is noted for being a strict disciplinarian, hard taskmaster and a bestower of Justice.

So for the foreseeable future we here on earth will experience a yin - a negative, dark and feminine principal ruling Saturn and yang - a positive bright and masculine principal ruling Jupiter. A back and forth, a tug of war between two opposing forces.
The last time these two planets were this closely aligned was March 4, 1226 (794 yrs. ago).
It is important to note that what happens in the heavens above dictates and influences events down here on earth: (As Above, So Below).
