The old giving way to the new. It could be a belief system, a way of governing or a painful but necessary truth being revealed. Change: The Past X Wheel of Fortune represents the cycles of life: Birth, Death and Renewal. Again, the old way of conducting business as usual on this planet is leaving and a new more beneficial cycle manifesting. Illusion: The Present XV The Devil shows a figure towering over the two nude figures. It appears he still has a hold over them but, if you look closely, you will notice that the rope attached to the two figures lies loosely in his hands. He has no hold over us only if we want him to. We create our own happiness and reality by the decisions we make. If we continue to choose a destructive path (addiction, crime, etc.) this is the future we reap. If, however, we choose a more positive path, then our life will change for the better as a result. Faith and Trust: The Future/Destination is VI The Lovers. The previous card shows The Devil hovering over the two figures (attempting to control them) while the Lovers Card depicts an angelic figure. The angelic figure neuters the negative and destructive meaning of The Devil. We see here the unseen healing angelic forces at work in the world. The two becoming one, creating a positive balance between male and female; a union based not on fear but on cooperation, respect and trust. A Gentle Touch: The Hidden Card VIII Strength means Fortitude and shows a woman calming a lion. The meaning of this card is that gentle persuasion is more effective instead of brute force. This also means the Feminine force being used to tame the wild and unbridled spirit of the Masculine. It also signifies Mind over Matter. False Gods: The Advice Card is V The Hierophant (aka The Pope). Normally a respected figure, its meaning is now in question meaning, "don't fall for the lies, do not just blindly accept "knowledge" without questioning first. Final Destination: The Outcome Card is VII The Chariot and the phrase, "we don't know if we don't try; decide to take the reins into your own two hands, for a change instead of leaving your future to someone else. You and You alone control your destiny. ***** This Life we're experiencing is an illusion that we're all painfully waking up to. Things are changing for the better on this planet but not, without a few more hurdles we have to (need to) overcome. The 1% who have ruled over us are on the way out but not before some more "Hail Mary's before they are completely taken down. I know we are all having difficulty transitioning through this planetary shift, some of us much more than others.
