This card represents sacrifice and endurance. Do you or I have what it takes to overcome? This card means learning to let go of what we can see and surrendering to what we cannot. - Faith. OUTCOME: Hosteen Coyote represents deception, snares and folly. He could care less about you or your circumstances, only interested in making other people's lives miserable. This card describes what is happening in the world today. Look at how many people are now becoming financially broken, losing their homes and jobs and health problems. Beware this magician who has no conscience but delights in others misfortune. SUMMARY: The Hermit is akin to the Hanged Man (endurance) in that he alone has made the decision to go it alone trusting in oneself knowing that whatever befalls him he will rise up to, confront and overcome. He has chosen a life of isolation, challenges and sacrifice. He knows he may or may not make it but what the hell, he's determined to live his life anyway without allowing others dictating the rules. He is a shaman of sorts learning life's lessons the hard way and living to teach others.
