SITUATION:  XIX The Sun

FOCUS:  XII Sun Dance
OUTCOME:  XXI The World
SUMMARY:  IV Council Chief

~ Reading ~

"A Second Chance"

Situation:  The Sun asks us this question, "what are we grateful for?"   Maybe we've been too focused on what's wrong instead of what's right.  Say a thank you every so often for those things you consider important that add meaning and cherish in your life.

Challenge:  This card reminds us of that we will be held to give an accounting for our life after we leave here.  The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.  It's a card we really don't like thinking about but, eventually, all of us will be faced with doing this as we will have no choice.  It might be a good idea to start now - getting your house in order.

Guidance:  The Lovers card means commitment.  Pledging your life to someone or following through with a project you swore you'd complete.  What are you committed to?  Is it your family that needs more of your attention, your marriage, your business, or maybe you need to spend more time with God?    Only you can answer this question.

Focus:  This card represents The XII Hanged Man.  A card of sacrifice, of trials and tribulations until you at last find the answers you are seeking.  It is a card of finding out who you really are, how you fit into the world, what are your strengths and your weaknesses.  It is a card of getting to know yourself so you rise above those things determined to put you down.

Outcome:  The World card represents Completion.   It represents cycles of life, birth and death.  The end of an age (death/transformation) and a new one (birth) on the horizon.  You came, you saw, you conquered (or at least thought you did) as you met yourself coming and going.  Some of what you encountered you were happy with but other parts of you not so much.  That's okay because your journey doesn't end here but continues on after you leave.  You were just warming up.  lol

Summary:  The Council Chief represents Wisdom, Authority and Paternal Power.  I like to think of this card as representing the Second Coming of Jesus as we are in the end of an age and a new and glorious one manifesting.  The world as we know it down here is not life but death.  So we're all getting a second chance this time around and it will be just like Jesus promised, "I am the Truth, the Way and the LIFE."

Numerical value of this reading is:  6 the ability to transcend difficulties
Adding the Summary Card is:  10 or 1 10 meaning completion and 1 meaning a new beginning
