~ Reading ~

"Coming of Age"

This was a most extraordinary reading as I was struggling with its message for several days. I kept looking up words and definitions as the position of the cards made no sense to me, until this morning when I decided to do another shuffle in the hopes that a clearer message would manifest.

And a message came through, boy, did it ever.
As I was shuffling the cards and reciting the Lord's Prayer a card literally pushed its way up and out of the card deck.

Many times when shuffling, a card or cards will flip up and out of the deck because spirit is drawing your attention to their meaning. The card that made its presence known this morning didn't "flip out" but purposely, slowly and methodically pushed its way up and out of the deck.

When I turned it over it was the card I was having trouble interpreting: VI The Lovers.

The whole meaning of the spread now took on the meaning that spirit wanted me to share, with you, so here it is:

I am a Daughter of the Revolution. My blood has stained the ground. In this cherished land my boots have trod. In this cherished land my fears have gnawed- but I've thrown them off with a guffaw. The Spirit Within

There's a part of me I'll never know that long lost Indian of many moons ago my daughter's name was Many Bluebells with spittled hair and sweated brow and forced to run the gauntlet now that led us all right straight to hell the muted sun the frozen ground nothing making any sound bodies lying all around staring faces with grimaces upon a bunch of primitives this I was told not long ago and one I hope to more deeply know.
