How can you even prepare for something like this when you don't even know what it is that's coming? Well you can't but it's a tap on the shoulder that you better start taking stock of those things you can do something about: your strengths and weaknesses. This reading is calling for an assessment of your mental health, your bodies and spiritual resources to determine if they are lacking in some area and then start correcting what's wrong. ********************************* *Note: While meditating I saw a jetty sticking out into an ocean. (See the picture, above). A jetty is a breakwater, a walkway, a long narrow structure that protects the coastline from currents and tides. I felt the jetty was pointing north. The water and sky were both dark and calm. I looked behind me (south) then (east) to my right and saw nothing but, when I turned and looked west, there I saw a spiral way up in the sky (see picture below) with colors of pink, cream, pale yellow and purple and underneath closer to the ocean, a huge vortex appearing, spiralling down toward the water. A vortex is a whirling mass of water or air sucking everything towards its center. (see picture below) ************************************ SITUATION: XXI The World Card reminded me of the saying, "we're at the end of the road" along with R.E.M.'s song, "The End of the World as We Know It and I Feel Fine". Basically, this card is detailing what is happening now as Humanity sheds its past and heads into the future. A new and better future, for all, I might add. We are ascending in Consciousness in which our eyes are opening to the blithering hatred and division on this planet and we're not going to remain silent anymore but, collectively, start calling out those responsible. This does not mean we are all going to see peace and harmony yet as we still have a long way to go before this is fully implemented on this planet. CHALLENGE: XIII Death does not always mean physical death but the death of something that has no meaning for us anymore, something that has outlived its usefulness. Everything that does not serve us anymore is dying, leaving room for something more beneficial. The crown on the skeleton's head represents our Crown Chakra and is challenging us to tap into this energy in which we will align with our beliefs and visions. This helps us find our true passions and our life's purpose and will make the difference between success and failure. This is also helpful in clearing our path of debris, making us more focused, strong and confident. RESOURCES/GUIDANCE: VIII The Strength Card is literally shouting at us, "You have the power." This is a very encouraging card, even if we do need to bone up on some things because it conveys the message that "we are stronger than we think" and it's time to stop the distractions, the confusion and fear and start believing in ourselves and capabalities. HIDDEN: Behind the scenes, XI Justice is restoring balance; reparations for wrongdoing and more; making sure that those responsible for the crimes against Humanity are exposed and brought to justice. Retribution OUTCOME: X Wheel of Fortune represents our destiny; the cyclical nature of life that never stops moving. One day it's sunny, the next stormy, one day we are here, the next day we are not. It represents the life cycle of birth, life and death, the 4 seasons and Karma, known as, "what goes around comes around." SUMMARY CARD 1: II The High Priestess represents our subconscious and she's telling us now is the time to take that deep dive into ourselves and do an depth introspection of who and what we're made of. We are both shadow and light. It's time we got the two together instead of allowing them to constantly be at war with each other. How can you win a battle when the good guys can't even figure out the first step they need to make in order to enjoy the victory they earnestly seek because of all the bantering about? This card aligns with our Shadow Side and the Mystery of Who We Are along with the Death Card, represents the dark forces at work in our subconscious that we need to come to grips with, continuing to use fear and distraction, inhibiting our abilities to move forward. The High Priestess is giving a finger to the Death Card as she asks us to acknowledge our fears, not to let them overwhelm us but introduce them to the light so duality can happen (a truce can occur resulting in healing). Where one moved against the other in the past, now both will work together, in sync, realizing that the result will work out to be beneficial to both sides. SUMMARY CARD 2: III The Empress represents Mother Nature; All of Creation; Earth, Weather, Volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, Floods, etc. She is going to play a big part in the upcoming days and months as her demeanor has changed from a nurturing and loving energy to one hell bent on fury. *Note: The small oracle card at the very bottom of the card spread is from the Hekate Oracle and adds even more understanding to the reading. This card represents "initiation" as we first enter this earthly realm and start our long walk (the Journey). It speaks of the courage and trust, along with faith, we need to acquire in order to successfully continue to navigate life's challenges and obstacles.
