"The Raven's Prophecy" Tarot Card Deck by Maggie Stiefvater The Raven is a Welsh symbol standing for dramatic change (Transformation) and can help guide us through the fray Card Positions Middle: Situation Card: I The Magician Upper Left: Challenge: IV The Emperor Top: Resources and Guidance: II The High Priestess Upper Right: Hidden: VII The Chariot Bottom: Outcome: VIII Strength Lower Left Botton: Summary 1: X The Wheel of Fortune Lower Left Bottom: XIV Temperance *While meditating I saw these colors: Black, Deep Crimson and Dark Purple. They looked like buoyant voluptuous strands of silk turning in the wind. Black represents Chaos; Deep Crimson represents Strength and Courage; Dark Purple is related to the Crown Chakra and represents the Gateway to Enlightenment. The next thing I saw was a row of dried standing pale yellow corn stalks. I'm unsure what this meant. ~ Reading ~ "Dark Winds" Situation: The Magician Card tells us, "Remember, In the blink of an eye" things can change. Be vigilant, remain alert and trust in yourself as you have all the requirements necessary to overcome any situation. Challenge: The Emperor is advising us of what's to come. He is asking us to do an assessment of how well prepared we are as this is crucial to whether we make it through or not. When the time comes, He will show up and be our guide as we move forward, into the Unknown. Resources/Guidance/Help: The High Priestess represents our intuition, our dark side, fears, hopes and dreams. She is advising us that things are about to change dramatically, thrusting us into a whole new era of enlightenment. She is here to help us through this transition but, first, we must trust in ourselves and capabilities. Hidden: The Chariot means focus; instead of being all over the place grab your life by the reins and start driving in one direction instead of constantly allowing yourself to be blown off course. It also means, change is here, so "Buckle Up." Outcome: The Strength Card means "I'm Ready", Fortitude and Resilience. Remember, "You ARE the Magician" with all the necessary qualifications to stand up to and overcome whatever is coming your way. Summary Card 1: The Wheel of Fortune is also known as the Wheel of Life and the never ending cycles of ups and downs. Earth and Humanity are entering into one of these great cycles now, involving the 4 elements; air, fire, water and earth. A mind altering experience in which those things we've outgrown and no longer serve us are being destroyed. Some also refer to this as a "Great Shaking." Summary Card 2: The Temperance Card represents Healing, a Harmonization occurring bringing positive and negatives together, male and female, a purification process by which we are all being cleansed of our old selves allowing for our new selves (a different way of looking and perceiving things) to enter. This card also asks us to let this Transformation of healing water wash over us (again trust is needed here) and let it do its work, instead of constantly being blind sided by life's problems. It's not going to work unless we let it. The numerical value of this reading is: 4 (See the Emperor Card) - Structure, foundation, stability, organization and planning Adding the 1st Summary Card is: 5 - Instability; conflict; loss, new cycle Adding the 2nd Summary Card is: 10 or 1 - Ones deal with that which is about to take form; Completion and New Beginnings Total is: 10 or 1 - Completion, End of a Cycle and Renewal THE DAY OF THE LORD - YouTube |
