This President and the Democratic Party, in lockstep with the Republican Party, have defaulted on their oath to the American People.

We are fast losing the last of The Greatest Generation, of which this honorable and gallant man is a spokesman, those defiant and courageous young Americans who fought in World War II.

The news is rolling over and feeding upon itself. There is a small respite in between the gross, the silly, the stupid.   It' like a kettle on the stove. First it starts to give off a little steam, its insides churning ever so slowly, then it's full speed ahead at a a raging boil.

And it continues its raging boil until we lift the kettle off the burner.    We fill it and set it down on the hot burner and it starts to boil again.  A pattern has emerged.      

We are, in a way, enabling bad things to happen.

I look at it this way...you think something long enough it will whole or partially materialize.

We are to quite an extent the rulers (thinkers and doers) of our own realities, thus the world.

When your mind is constantly subjected to the drone of bad news day in and day out, watching in horror at yet another senseless act and waiting for the next one, have you considered that you might actually be playing the role of enabler?

Have you ever really sat down and thought about all the harm bad news is doing to your brain?  Have you thought about all the negative news that your brain is absorbing as you watch one bad event after another?

If the collective news media were to shut down we'd not hear anything about anything.  If anything bad was occurring it was occurring in a vacuum.

No sound, no picture, just peace and quiet.

Time to read a book with the kids; time to sit down and enjoy a coffee; time to take a relaxing bath.

Time to thank G-d for His creation and the fact that we are here on this earth to elevate and empower the good within ourselves, not the bad.

No wonder we have so much trouble in our world, we are enabling the bad to grow and persevere.

Penetrating ever deeper into our psyches, dictating and making our decisions while it continues its incessant drone beat, ignoring the good that is all around us and within us.    

Slavery

We succeeded in ridding ourselves of one form of slavery but have embraced others.

We are slaves to many different slave holders.

Take a look at your credit card debt. Where are you right now--thousands and thousands of dollars in debt?  Did you know that when you charge something on your credit card and the merchant asks for your signature on that little receipt, you have now entered into a contract between the merchant and the bank that is guaranteeing those funds?  That you are fully liable for the amount you charged to the bank (credit card company) plus other applicable fees if you don't?  And isn't it so very easy to keep charging and charging and charging without looking at how much your monthly credit is actually costing you?    Pretty soon you're way over your head.  Yes, some of the responsibility definitely falls on your shoulders but doesn't the bank bare a good portion also as they are focusing soley on your desires and your II want" "I need to have", your greed?  They really don't care how much debt you accumulate as they have lobbied for laws to go after you in protecting their investment but what about you?  You can lose your home, your job, your family, your reputation.

Their goal is, under the guise of making it way too easy for you, is making as much money as they can.    

We live in a society where those powerful individuals and institutions in charge of us are making it easier and easier and more convenient for us to surrender our individual sovereignty each time make a credit card purchase and all because we are made to feel that "we need this item', or "that one," constantly consumed and carried away by another feel good moment.  

We live in a society that has seized upon our weaknesses and is flourishing from our own "I Want Mentality," knowing full well that we can't say no, that we just gotta have it for if we go without it, our lives will be ruined.

Rubbish.  

I am just focusing on credit card debt.  There are many, many other ways we have willingly enslaved ourselves.

Could there be a more meaningful existence awaiting us if we all decided to stop using our credit cards as a means of exchange (credit cards as just one example, there being others) seeing that we're being taken for a ride. taken for granted and being used?

How about a future existence that actually empowers the individual and not some self-appointed We Know What's Best For You corporate giant?  Look at how much we believed in the CDC.  We were led to believe that they were protecting us, they had all the answers, There obvious inability to know how to handle a dangerous situation, Ebola, their conflicting words, has shown the light of day on their inability to act and upon their We Know What's Best For You hypocrisy.  Isn't this another sorry example of betrayal of the public trust?

I don't have an axe to grind with corporations or businesses as they greatly contribute their awesome prowess to many worthwhile endeavours, but if we don't like where our hard earned dollars are flowing and we don't necessarily like their agenda and we feel we aren't in control about who is accessing and using our money and we are confronted by outright lying on their behalf to save their behinds, can we not exercise our rights as sovereign individuals to do something about the situation?

Isn't this all about taking control of your own destiny?

What if two million (or more) of us tore up or credit cards on national t.v., challenged others to do so and handed a list of our grievances to a particular credit card company?  Do you not think that they wouldn't set up an emergency meeting right away with their top level executives on high alert, asking to meet with us in emergency session to see what could be negotiated? You bet they would.

What is wrong with wanting more out of life?  What is wrong for righting wrongs that we see?  What is wrong with expecting to receive something back (if only a little) instead of always giving, giving giving and receiving nothing in return?  

Why, on G-d's green earth, do we CONTINUE to allow others to control us and do our thinking for us?

Has your light bulb gone off yet?

Are we capable of making the decision that we're not going to reward the schemers anymore by continuing to play the role of victim, as they constantly suck us dry for their political agendas and other nefarious reasons?

You cannot be a victim if you REFUSE to be one in the first place.

The schemers demand more and more of us as we silently allow more chunks of our flesh to be sloughed off, turning over more and more of ourselves, letting someone else decide who we are, what we are and what we are capable of becoming.  

Don't you think that what you earn, who you are and what you stand for in this miserable and complex world is much more important and worthy TO YOU as a complete human being than to some other entity, some other enterprise or some government agency who continues to exhibit a great disdain for the little guy?

There is a Great Shift occurring on this planet.  We are in the beginning throes of another (necessary and needful) alteration to mankind's collective brain, effecting a change that will be for the true and lasting betterment of all.

Mankind is waking up and throwing off the shackles and chains that have held it in bondage for thousands of years, in favor of a better world for all whether it be rising up to refute and refuse a government or banking system that has utterly failed us, a religion that touts and speaks of tolerance and togetherness but is only about annihilation or other systems that clearly have not worked but only exist to suck us in, appealing to the lowest and miserable common denominator that lies dormant within each of us.

If you encourage and empower good, good will prevail.  Likewise if you encourage and empower evil.

We cannot have it both ways thus the enormous spiritual battle that is now waging war here on planet earth today for humanity's soul.  This battle is playing out in full view for all of us to see.

Now is the Time to take control of your destiny, take a stand and empower yourselves, your lives, your world.

This world and how it operates is based solely on the decisions we make.  Don't keep giving away portions of yourselves to those whose only goal is your further enslavement.

All of us no matter where we reside on this planet are born free.  No one, NO ONE has the right to refuse, deny, detract or extract this from us.        

Human beings were never destined for slavery but to be a fully commissioned presence, a colorful and vibrant tapestry of commerce and talent, a willing partner and a willing participant in the ultimate goal toward the well being of all those who make up our celestial world and in which earth and its inhabitants are destined to play a big part.

The Messenger

Black Bird, Black Bird, what have you to say, for I am one who is listening......

The cries of the mighty Raven echo out across the land.  "Haw, haw, haw," he shrieks as he soars far and wide. "Haw, haw, haw," as his fervent warning reaches out to all those who will hear him.

"We live in perilous times."  "We are running out of time."  "The time is drawing near."  "Gather your loved ones and bring them to your nest."

"Haw, haw, haw," he shrills, warning anyone who will listen.

You can always discern when an animal is alerting you, warning you of impending danger and doom.

Or are you one of those who is so caught up in your own little world, relying on technology to save you or on another person, denying the existence of a supernatural intelligence that oversees All things, consulting institutions, organizations and/or relying on alcohol or drugs, or your own limited perception and knowledge, believing you have all the answers, impervious and immune to the natural world that surrounds you so that you summarily dismiss this warning outright, paying it no heed?    

Woe to you.

"Haw, haw, haw," as the mighty and wise Raven continues to circle even higher overhead, surveying the countryside and continuing to warn anyone who will listen.

The old hag stirs, her scant clothing and dirty, matted hair, long and filthy nails and calloused hands clutch a long and gnarled stick, her evil, sullen, dull and cloudy eyes scan her surroundings while she continues to stir the steaming brew at her feet brimming with sordid, repugnant, putrid and discarded parts, poverty and disease, squalor and bitterness, envy and hatred, ugliness and despair, war and strife, fear and loathing,    She quickly surveys her surroundings to see if anyone is spying on her. When she is convinced she is not being monitored, she slowly and slyly licks her lips in crazed glee.

Cold and ruthless, cunning and calculating are the blackened and hardened hearts of all those who have gone before her, accepting and being consumed by the darkness on behalf of undertaking humanity's demise. She counts herself as one of them.

These are the evil ones, those who were commissioned by Lucifer to perform the many evil acts according to his plan that have plagued and beset mankind for so long.

But times are changing.   There is hope but only if we prayerfully and meaningfully ask for it.

Those evil doers accomplished Lucifer's dirty works on behalf of him, an entity that had willfully turned his back on God's lawful teachings and all before God's watchful eyes.

Woe to man, woe to man.  Had he not succumbed to tyrants and despots and liars and thieves, had he not been dumbed down by those who act only in their own best interests, had he not been ridiculed and humiliated into accepting his own weaknesses and therefore stripped of his abilities to fight back, having relinquished any courage whatsoever, he may have stood a chance.

Had man been wise enough to throw off his chains and shackles long before now, had he been bold and wise enough to unleash enough courage within himself to withstand the onslaughts, muster the resolve to listen and learn to the wise instruction from the learned counsel being offered to him, he may have stood a chance.

Humanity is standing on the precipice.  Can you not feel it?

And we are in need of a miracle.  This entire world is in need of a miracle.

And, we need it now.  

God willing, He has heard this prayer.  

Please Don't "Sock it to Me"

Have you ever wondered what the heck happened to those socks you know you just put in the dryer?

How many times have you pulled out the clothes and found that one sock was missing?

This is one of those Great Mysteries of Life.  You wonder, I know I put it in there so how come I can't find it?

You rummage through the laundry and still, no sock.  Then, a couple days later you're looking for something in a dresser drawer and voila!, there's that missing sock. Somehow it just wandered away and attached itself to something else.

But, thank goodness you found it, right?  I mean, who can wear just one sock?

Aren't kids like that?  First you see them, then you don't.  They dance and dart around you like little fireflies, smiling and giggling, hiding and playing, full of life and joy and wonder--in their own little worlds--and then they're gone--off to school, or at a sleepover or at summer camp.

If we don't keep track of them, if we don't provide them with the nurturing environment they need to grow into loving and caring human beings, if we don't tend to their needs, answer their questions and set examples of what is right and wrong, then they too may well wind up missing from our lives.

Hopefully, if we do some soul searching and make some amends, we will find them just"hanging out" with friends or simply sitting in their room, quietly reading a book.

Parents are caretakers.  We have an obligation to care for our kids.

They belong to us and we belong to them.  It's a special symbiotic relationship we are obliged to fulfill as we agreed to take it on in the first place thus embracing and enjoying one of life's most wonderful experiences (not to mention challenges).      

But it goes deeper:

Kids are not errant socks but they sure can wind up socking it to us (and themselves, in the process) in some unimaginable and hurtful way if we don't abide by the contract we signed and agreed to as responsible parents and stewards of their futures.

STOP THE MADNESS

Individually, We are the world.  Exactly what is it going to take to unite We the world?  How much more will we idly stand by like robots resigned to the role of reactive spectators (as opposed to proactive) to local and world events, wringing our hands in agony and despair while we watch some crisis, some bureaucrat, some government agency or some neer-do-well with an axe to grind purposely and flagrantly direct the outcome of events that may adversely affect the rest of us? How much more will we stand by and submit to lie after lie after lie?  Why do we consent to further hobbling ourselves, willingly relinquishing our God given natural rights as human beings, parents, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and voters to a system that is only interested in promoting a virulent ruse on all of us, as it continues it self aggrandizement in pursuit of perpetuating the status quo?  Consuming us in its tireless quest toward increased power and control?   I have a few suggestions: First you must be angry enough and fed up enough to do something about what you are seeing. Second you must be willing to take action against The Behemoth for this hierarchal order exists only because we allow it to.  Are you angry with a school policy that you feel is adversely affecting your child? Then, make an appointment with the school and confront the problem and defend your child.  Are you unhappy with the drugs poisoning your neighborhood and infecting your children?  Then band together and go after the source.  Are you unhappy with what your child is "learning" in school?  Then find out what other alternatives you have available such as a charter or a private school.  Do you need help in finding the money to help pay for this, then look at religious institutions, grants and charities.  Are you unhappy with the way this country is going? Then run for office.  We are not going to be able to institute effective and meaningful change (that benefits humanity instead of enslaving it) unless we first make the decision to become the change.  If you continue to be satisfied with your "victim mentality" then you are a part of the problem.  Take up the challenge of finding out just who you are and what you're made of. Step up to the plate.  We are all in this together.  We are on the Titanic and she is sinking. We can either lower the life boats or jump to our death.

We are now forced to undergo or initiate a new reassessment of the situation we find ourselves in.   This can also be a time for institutions and leaders to take a tumble.  This can also be a time of probing deeper inside ourselves, sorting out the how comes and whys.  This can be uncomfortable but may be the right time for a relationship to end as it is not meaningful anymore or we may find ourselves drifting away from a belief system--something we once thought we believed in and trusted, but now decide it has no place in our lives.
