"If Only I Had a Little Humility, I'd Be Perfect" - Ted Turner |
Humility never shouts; it never argues; it never accuses; it never seeks power and control; never angry or hostile; never seeks dominion over others.
Humility lifts people up. Humility changes people's lives.
Humility brings you into contact with your True Being:
1. You are not the center of the universe.
2. You are not able to solve all your problems.
3. You are an imperfect being with numerous shortcomings, faults and weaknesses.
As I journey through Life and discover new patterns that exist throughout nature and the universe, I marvel as I look up against a backdrop of pitch black sky dotted with a trillion twinkling stars, and see that smooth, gray silk ribbon effortlessly weaving its way across the heavens, a celestial tether that binds all of us together.
Humility is a profound force for when you realize that you are just a fragment of a much bigger Whole, that you do have a role to play while down here, it brings you to your knees in humbleness, asking for Wisdom and Guidance.
There are many who seek out Humility but are denied access, hobbled by the fortunes they have amassed, stymied by their Egos, the company they keep and special interests.
