I am so weary of political and military pundits saying inaction is better than action or we should have done this or we should have done that.
Isn't there more to what we're seeing than what we should have done vs. what we're not doing?
Is there a select group of beings on this earth that are capable of inflicting such cruelty on others?
Beings with no souls?
Is that possible?
If God created the world He tells us it was created in harmony (perfection) with all things.
How, then, can one explain why evil is continuing to exist, continuing its unabated expansion as it conquers, terrorizes and subjugates any and all who stand in its way?
How does evil fit into God's perfect equation?
Evil doesn't have to be about the torture and killing of innocents, evil can also be in the form of inflated egos, (self serving interests) deception and corruption, greed, avarice, hatred, jealousy, revenge.
If given enough latitude, evil is self-perpetuating.
Was this planet judged at one time?
Were we humans so full of ourselves, so contentious, so rebellious and so out of control with those in authority (who only had our best interests at heart) that we were to be taught a lesson and that any and all options (and excuses) for us to remove ourselves from our now looming predicament (of our own making) were clearly off the table?
That we would have no choice in the matter?
They said: "Evil will be part of your culture and we'll just sit back and watch your feeble attempts to deal with it".
Isn't it time we owned up to the fact that we just cannot deal or live anymore with the intolerable suffering we're witnessing?
It is very seductive and preys upon our innermost fears and weaknesses.
Evil is not a friend of man but a formidable foe bent on domination and dominion.
It has one motive in mind--destruction--Ours.
If this, in fact, did happen--that we willingly rebelled against an immutable force, are we actually to blame for where we are, right now?
There is a creeping menace, a horrible, unbearable stench, an ugly blackened turbulent undercurrent, a dark sub culture that lies beneath.
It can rear its ugly head at any time and take on many forms.
It is found in the arts, in business, in politics, in communications as well as many other organizations and institutions.
It can (and now is) permeating everything we have come to believe in and hold dear.
It leaves in its wake, death and destruction, chaos confusion and mayhem.
It is sly, subversive and cunning, swiftly scurrying away and hiding itself after it has done its damage so you are confused as to who is really to blame.
It is an insidious disease, a cancer that has been eating away at the fabric of this planet for a very long time.
If you've noticed, if anyone attempts to do something good, something helpful, something that uplifts humanity and gives us hope, it is soundly denounced.
The well-meaning messenger is attacked, humiliated, trounced or worse.
Is this what lies at the core of our problem?
Something so insidious, something so vile, that it is allowed to maintain its death grip on humanity because there are those people and institutions among us who like things just the way they are and all because the outcome of evil is continually emboldening them and empowering them?
Something to ponder.
Our human brains are wired to think and react laterally.
It is difficult, if not impossible for us to tap into our subconscious to see what lies beneath.
Maybe what we're feeling right now happening around the world with strange sounds in the sky, massive volcanoes going off, earthquakes and torrential rainfall is a wake up call.
Or, maybe it is just the end of one weather cycle and the beginning of another more potent one.
Nothing to be worried about just a little more adjusting and adapting to do.
Or maybe, just maybe, a re-wiring of our brains is taking place so we can actually see the Truth of where we are all headed.
Finally, a light bulb has gone off and we're seeing the light, so to speak, feeling a different energy coming over this planet and now we're finally able to fit the puzzle pieces together.
The ones in authority knew all along that we would eventually tire of what's been happening on our planet and would finally rise to the occasion of taking it back.
All it took was some time for all of us to reach an epochal decision to push back and demand that we're the ones in control here, not a bunch of bureaucrats or corporations or institutions.
WE THE PEOPLE
We are the ones in control of our destinies.
And we are now taking charge (as it should be).
We're banding together, as one unit, demanding that evil take a permanent hike --you're familiar with the old ditty--"hit the road Jack and don't come back no more, no more, hit the road Jack and don't come back no more".
People are a force for change both positive and negative but we're tired of the negative and of being lied to. We want real change--not the change we've been led to believe would help us but actual, meaningful change that first takes place in the heart.
It's the Butterfly Affect --
A dainty butterfly on the other side of the planet alights atop a fragrant flower. Its wings flutter softly as it balances itself, sipping the sweet nectar, the lovely reverberation from its wings felt all the way across the planet.
