Reading:  "Forbidden Fruit"     


We're in what some call, "The Correcting Time." 
It's when everything wrong with our world is being revealed and a new order implemented.  Seeing that it took eons for us to get to this point, it's going to take time before everything is straightened out.

Situation:  The Lovers stand for Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  After G-d created earth, He wanted to express and communicate His love through others as they would reciprocate in kind.   

However, Eve decided she would defy G-d's law even after He had admonished both of them not to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge (Understanding).  This one act of defiance paved the way for all the evil we see in the world today.  (See the Summary Card The Fool).    
  
Challenges and Expectations:  The Hermit tells us we will be successful in our endeavors but only if we continue to shed the Light of Truth.      
  
Hidden:  This card shows a picture of a man hanging upside down.  He is in the process of "Letting Go".  The halo around his head shows he is in the process of being "enlightened" knowing that a much higher source is directing his actions.  

What's Happening:  The Empress embodies fruitfulness.  She is "pregnant" (gestation) with new ideas and is bringing them forth.  The pomegranate signifies "regeneration" and means restoring and replacing what is damaged. 

Advice:  The Strength card symbolizes taking action but instead of a full frontal assault, why not try to attack the beast (problem) from a different angle:  a firm hand yet a gentle one.  

Outcome:  The World Card suggests that the problems we are facing are not ours alone but that the whole world is affected.  This is unprecedented and highlights the supernal nature of the times we are in.

Summary:  The Fool card looks like he's walking off a cliff but, in reality, he's weighed all his options and believes he made the right decision.  He is leaving his past behind him in favor of a new one.  This is presently, the path Humanity is on.  We are ascending in understand (unlike when Eve ate of the forbidden fruit (Knowledge) allowing us to move into new territory and a new direction, benefitting all of us.
