Down here it's hard to separate things as we're in the fray; up there we get a View from Above as to what is really going on down here.

One of Our Most Precious Resources
Children--so loving, so trusting, so uninhibited, so new, so untarnished, so untouched. Most parents are good parents, kind, loving and nurturing. But there are those who haven't gotten to first base yet when it comes to the realization that it is an exacting and awesome responsibility to first create a child and then learn how to buckle down and take care of it. Today while sitting in the parking lot at Home Depot, I watched a young father and his young son (maybe six or seven) as they walked to his truck. The father had some materials in his hand and the young boy was helping him. Just like clockwork the two walked side by side. When they reached his truck the young boy instantly reached out to open the door for the father without even waiting to be told to do so. It was a "trust" thing that was taking place between them. The boy had grown to trust the father and to anticipate when he would need a little bit of help. Then he just stood there patiently waiting for his next command. Children are so trusting, so loving, so knowing. Then why does one segment of the population vote to abort these helpless creatures? Why is it that we don't label this monstrosity child genocide? Even worse, how is it that some human beings only want to use them for their own personal and depraved satisfaction?
