So much
sadness
So much
sorrow
We have
today
But not
tomorrow
How is it we
still turn our heads
While many live
in fear and dread?
Suffering
Pain
It all
remains
But I ask, “What
have we gained”?
This bitter
pill we know as Life
Is filled
with malice, rage and strife
It’s like a
sharpened blade
In Hades it
was made
We skirt the
wily riptide
Yet it manages
to strike out
Snagging us asunder
and tossing us about
Those on
shore are forced to seek
Asylum from condition
bleak
Is there a human
rulebook hidden
Or is this
book for us, forbidden?
This age of Evil
this age of Quark
Yet we’re
drawn like butter
To the dark
Please
someone
Won’t you
hear me, please?
I’m trying
to save humanity
