The Conveyor Belt in the Sky

I'm trying to find something worthwhile to post about for this week.  Something that will resonate with you.  How about we all, "keep forging ahead?"

Life sometimes feels like being trapped in a block of cheese.  You keep watching the same disgusting movie over and over.  You're slowly realizing that you've handed control of your body and mind over to something else which has completely immobilized and demoralized you.  Procrastination sets in, "should I or shouldn't I"?  It can get so overwhelming you give up, feeling you're getting nowhere.  You're treading water in a heavy wool overcoat.

Did it ever occur to you that help is just a prayer away?  Prayer is a great way of freeing oneself from  debilitating habits.  It also helps immensely to have encouragement and support from family and friends.

Self improvement is not an easy task as we're finding out.   In fact it's far more than we expected.  Yet it is necessary in order for us to run across the finish line.

What's the biggest item on your "To Do" list for 2018?  What's holding you back?  What's the most important thing in your life right now?  What's the biggest obstacle you're facing?

There are so many of us who have "hangers on".  It's that old and outworn part of us that doesn't serve us well anymore yet stubbornly refuses to leave.  It's time for a shake up.  It takes courage to own up to things and face things when we're scared.

One of the hardest things in life is making the decision to get up and out of our comfort zones.  It's even more daunting when we're given an ultimatum, "you have to do this."  We're all on a one way journey, being propelled forward on some giant conveyor belt in the sky.    And, guess what, we've got plenty of company!

Most of the time it takes time for life's picture to unfold.  In the meantime we're fretting and dodging.  Don't fear life but rise to its challenges.   Add some chips and dip to that cheese.

You  can't learn anything worthwhile if you keep running away.
