Cosmic Tarot Card Deck ~ V of Swords |
I've been hearing that the month of April is going to be very turbulent (possibly more wars, as if one wasn't enough), natural disasters such as earthquakes, tornadoes, possibly an EMP either solar or man made, world leaders resigning, stepping down or assassinated.
I decided to ask for clarification.
While meditating and shuffling the cards one card literally pushed itself up and out of the deck (the one you see above).
This is the universe' way of replying to you.

The Tarot meaning of the V of Swords suggests that a battle has been fought and lost. It further means that you were dishonorable in your dealings and associations, decisions, etc. and now are experiencing regret resulting in degradation and humiliation.
The negative meaning of the Suit of Swords represents anger; guilt; destructive action; harsh judgment; lack of compassion.
Their positive side is swords are heavily associated with truth, justice and fairness.
However, depending on the question, they can (and relying on the reader's intuition) be read as either positive or negative or even both.
It really all depends on the feelings emanating from the card that the reader is able to interpret.
All Tarot cards contain symbols that further augment (add to the message) as the message continues to unfold during the reading.

"Aftermath"
The pale pink sky shows there is a sense of peace and calm in the world (like after a storm, a war, etc.)
Yet even with this peace there still remains a degree of uncertainty, a gloom and a stillness (note the gray clouds).
The two plateaus in the distance with an opening in the middle signifies a "liminal" period (stillness) in which something is receding (waning).
It also means reflecting on matters (why things turned out the way they did, what you did right, what you did wrong, etc.)
The green trousers on the prostrate man represent negative emotions such as sadness and hopelessness.
If you notice his position, he is surrounded by five swords and now, cannot move, is immobilized and helpless.
His cream color shirt is a lack of confidence and a need for reassurance.
The gnarled trees indicate a destructive force occurred could be fire, nuclear, the result of a natural disaster or a powerful electrical discharge).
As I continued to ponder the message what really jumped out at me was the tree located in the upper left corner.
It reminded me of the Statue of Liberty.
The swords embedded in the roses are metaphorical for "piercing the soul of man".
This could also mean angry words designed to hurt, or the actual use of a weapon.
The negative meaning of the 5 sided pentagram the man is trapped on symbolizes negativity and destructive forces; it also represents the ego, ambition and drive.
Notice the desert is lifeless, desolate and barren.
Could this be a symbol of the man's soul - a life in which spiritual matters didn't matter to him? or the aftermath of a cataclysmic event (terrorism, natural disaster, etc.)?
I'll leave it up to you what you think this all means.
