"That Which is About to Take Form"

*Situation: Humanity is represented by The Fool: New Beginnings.

*Past: The Empress Card Earth and Life (Creation) reminds us of our roles as caretakers and our interconnectedness with all life.

*Present: The Moon represents the dark.

*Destination: The Sun represents the light.

*Hidden: The Lovers shows two figures, male and female being blessed by an angel reminding us of our union with the Divine.

*Advice: The Hermit is about sacrifice, illustrating a man holding a lantern in search of Enlightenment and mountains in the background representing the obstacles he has overcome. This card advises if we want answers to our problems, we must choose a path of solitude and meditation.

*Outcome: The Emperor represents "Restoration", a card of power and authority and shows Humanity is on the road to rising above its problems, learning to take control of its destiny.

*Summation: The Hierophant is the Teacher and sums up the reading by blessing Humanity's efforts. His two fingers pointing upward and downward (a Divine decree) reflect the divine connection between earth and heaven.

This reading shows Humanity moving from Dark to Light.

The numerical value is: 5 New cycle and expansion

Poetry

I am a Daughter of the Revolution. My blood has stained the ground. In this cherished land my boots have trod. In this cherished land my fears have gnawed- but I've thrown them off with a guffaw. With musket, powder, cloak and dagger, I am unlike polities swagger, for I am honour bound. The trees, my cover, the babbling brook, await the line I bait with hook. For up ahead opposition lies. And I am one and they are five. Covert and silent, I know the drill, as I creep across yon silent hill. I push aside locks grazing brow and grasp my
musket more firmly now. My heart is steady as stealthily, I approach the enemy. Blood, sweat and loss is all I've known. For father, mother, children gone. And country on verge of collapse. I cannot bare hear dirge of Taps. What drives me is it courage, duty? Or is it liberty's proclivity? We must accomplish task at hand--restoration of this great land. All else is worthless if freedom lost and unresolved at any cost.

There's a part of me I'll never know that long lost Indian of many moons ago my daughter's name was Many Bluebells with spittled hair and sweated brow and forced to run the gauntlet now that led us all right straight to hell the muted sun the frozen ground nothing making any sound bodies lying all around staring faces with grimaces upon a bunch of primitives this I was told not long ago and one I hope to more deeply know.
