~ We're Not in Kansas Anymore! ~
Our Situation: The Temperance Angel represents patience. She is telling us the universe is in control, not us. She's put a hold on our situation and, instead, decreed a holding pattern while the universe decides what to do next. More often than not things don't always happen when we want nor the way we want them to. This is one of those times.
Sometimes it's best to back off and have faith that things are going to work out as planned.
~ All good things come to those who wait~
Our Challenge: The Empress has a surprised look on her face. Could it be that she's now wondering what the heck is up with the weather? I mean, c'mon, She's Mother Earth, Gaia, she's the one in control; the one that creates the weather, makes the sun shine, brings the rain and is responsible for the beauty and abundance on earth.
Would you agree the weather has been a little extreme lately? Look at all the flooding in places that don't experience flooding and what just happened to Acapulco. The Meteorologists, Weather Bureaus were unprepared for Hurricane Otis' strength. In just 12 hours it went from 65 mph to 165 mph and made a direct hit on Acapulco. The interesting thing about this is, none of their "computer" models showed what was coming.
Some thing has definitely changed on this planet: It's time to take the weather more seriously, now.
~ We're not in Kansas, anymore ~
Guidance: The Fool represents our starting out on our life's journey. He represents the innocence in us, our trusting nature and no fear because he hasn't experienced it yet. Isn't this a good time to start considering the fact that maybe, just maybe we're in uncertain times, maybe even perilous times?
This card asks us to take the clown hat off our heads and consider what's happening seriously. We need to prepare but, you ask, "for what?
~ Exactly ~
Focus: The Hierophant has an expression on his face that makes him look like a monster. Underneath his heavy shroud is there even a real man there? His blue hand means the blue hand of death; false religion; abuse of power; depravity; depression; excesses, influenced or controlled by something else (demonic possession).
Isn't it interesting we're now learning all about religion and the dogmatic, authoritarian hypocrites they are. And throw in Pedophelia in which many priests were found guilty of participating in. So, who does this guy represent? Could he be under demonic possession?
This card asks you to consider who you contact and consult with regarding spiritual matters. Sometimes, the people who profess to be who they are aren't who they are at all but liars and deceivers:
~ I wonder, "how many skeletons does this "religious" leader have hiding in his closet? ~
Outcome: The Hanged Man is the opposite of The Fool. He's walked the path and learned that life is full of ups and downs. He's tried to control his destiny through decision making and much arrogance on his part (a know it all) continuing to result in failure, not success.
He's gained the wisdom necessary in order to grow - having to learn lessons the hard way. He finally realized it wasn't working and decided there was a better way and it was to change course. He's "hanging" out now, taking a breather from all the strife, geting his affairs in order allowing for a new and fresh start to manifest.
~ Learning Life's Lessons the Hard Way ~
Summary: The Sun is shining brightly in, fact, even too brightly. Could this be that better days are coming? That the darkness we're all going through going to be obliterated by the light? What light would this be? From Sol or another Source? The cards don't say but do say is:
~ Time to get our affairs in order ~
The numerical value of this reading is 7: Reflection; assessment; Faith Adding the Summary Card is: 8: Movement; action; change and rebirth
