Embracing Fame

qualify 

for the Hall of Shame

the Wise Ones, oh

you knew them well

but instead of listening 

you gave them Hell

ignoring their message

at Humanity's Peril

They've been warning

for years 

of just what's to come

but you guys continue, 

sightless, clueless 

   and numb  

Because you chose

to ignore

what God has in store

we'll now all be riddled

with cankers

   and sores

why is it you two

can't come down from your perches

  and do what is needed

for all of God's creatures

all you need is Humility

to find Truth or not

  or will you continue
