| "Every Day" Tarot Cards Situation: XVIII The Moon Past: XIV Temperance Present: VIII Strength Future: XVII The Star Obstacles/Challenges: XVI The Tower Guidance: IX The Hermit Outcome: I The Magician Summation Card: XXI The World ~ Reading ~ "The Twilight Zone" The Situation: The Moon Card symbolizes unrest below the surface. The crayfish emerging from the water represents a baby exiting its mother's watery womb and starting its earthly journey; the dog howling at the moon is our consciousness, that civilized part of ourselves while the wolf represents our unconscious or feral side. The path between the two towers is our life path leading into the unknown. The two towers, one good the other evil, represent the difficulties we will face in determining the difference between the two. The moon's rays do not illuminate what we need to know but makes matters worse by concealing the traps and perils that lie ahead. The Past: The Temperance Card is an androgynous angel, representing both male and female reminding us of our unbreakable bond with our Creator. The angel stands with one foot in the water, encouraging us to "go with the flow" while the other foot on land stresses the importance of "staying grounded". The Present: The Strength Card symbolizes mastery over our situation also known as mind over matter. The Future: The Star Card represents a welcome reprieve after a period of destruction and turmoil. * Obstacles and Challenges: The Tower Card represents massive change, natural disaster, destruction and upheaval.* Guidance: The Hermit Card advises us to take a "time out" from all the mayhem happening in the world and "go within" (getting in touch with your soul) as this is where we will find the answers we seek. It can be time away from the t.v., the news, the internet, learning to meditate or seeking help from pastors and priests. All necessary in order for you to make it through. Outcome: The Magician Card is number 1 and a card of new beginnings. He is the conduit between the spiritual world and the material world. He is connected to the Fool Card and instructs and encourages us. We have everything we need to make a success out of life if we take the time to do so and follow the necessary steps. Seek wisdom through knowledge, courage through trials and enlightenment through spirit. The Summary Card: The World Card is a card of fulfilment, achievement and completion. One cycle has passed and a new one manifesting. ***** Note: One thing I want to point out is another meaning I received from XVII The Star Card. Even though I do not do reversals this card, like all Tarot cards has a positive and negative meaning. This card also struck me as a "harbinger" of things to come quite possibly an asteroid hitting earth or an EMP - electromagnetic pulse from a massive solar flare or, quite possibly, a nuclear attack. We cannot rule out some other catastrophic event. The other thing I noted was that The Tower Card followed the Star Card in the Obstacles and Challenges position. This card also means something unexpected happening, something we cannot avoid, that will shake us to our very core. ***** The numerical value of this is: 2 - A crossroad or a choice, assimilation, insight Adding the Summation Card is: 5 - Instability, conflict, change, new cycle |
