"Adversary" is a most powerful word. "But what exactly does it mean"?
This word contains within it many different meanings.
Most importantly, I believe, is the meaning "To Come Against".
In the bible there is the story of Jesus being summoned by the devil in order for the devil to tempt him.
The devil brings Jesus up to a mountain where Jesus is able to survey all the kingdoms of the world.
The devil mocks Jesus by saying, ' all these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me".
Jesus rebukes the devil by saying, "get thee hence Satan, it is written that thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and only Him shalt thou serve".
In the above illustration, several other definitions of the word Adversary reveal themselves:
Tempter
Mocker
Satan
Tormentor
Manipulator
Deceiver
Liar
The world is in rebellion.
But now good people are beginning to see with a new pair of eyes.
Can you feel it? There is a tension, a seething, a quiet growing turbulence in the air.
It's like sensing someone is standing behind you but when you turn around, no one's there.
The New Moon is in Aries and Aries represents, among other things, "The God of War".
This is a time to reflect upon what is important in your life.
Is it your job? Is it sex? Is it drugs? Is it alcohol?
Or, is it delighting and laughing while beating someone up, robbing them and taking their life?
What about family and relationships and making peace with one another?
What about rebuilding communities and making them habitable and safe for our children and loved ones?
What about taking care of our elderly and our military men and women who have given so much and sacrificed so much for all of us?
But the Adversary will have none of this.
Why do you think ISIS has raised its ugly head? Why do you think ISIS is gaining so much power and strength?
If we do not stand up to evil we are setting ourselves up for the ultimate fall.
Right now I believe the world is in free fall.
Our leaders are paralyzed by indecision, power, politics, money and game playing.
There is a war brewing for the very soul of this planet, for the very soul of humanity.
And this war will be the war to end all wars (my opinion).
There is tumult and claps of thunder and dark looming clouds on the horizon.
The fight is on to wrest back what was stolen from us.
To retrieve what was, what is and what shall forever be--that which The Creator rightfully bequeathed to every human being on this planet--love, peace and harmony but what the Adversary has trampled asunder.
I believe we're all getting tired of the same old runaround here on planet earth.
Tired of being ripped off and being lied to; tired of being used by political junkies to line their already filthy rich coffers and further their personal agendas; tired of communities under siege by drugs, alcohol and violence.
I don't know about you but lately I've become more "aware" of things.
Before I couldn't see what lies beneath but now I can.
It's like being able to see (perceive) what is on the underside of a leaf.
You pick it up but didn't realize there was a venomous spider clinging to the underside.
Now you do and are able to avoid a nasty encounter.
It's a subtle perception, an awareness that you've not experienced before as it wasn't there before.
It's like a door that's been opened. One that was previously closed to you.
You can't put a finger on it but you can feel it".
This is part of the growing consciousness of good men and women everywhere.
The Shift: This is what the Ancients spoke of, a new awareness, a new way of living for all on planet earth but in the meantime we all need to band together as we are in for some very rough times.
This new awareness is part of the shift in global consciousness toward a more harmonious and equitable way of life for all.
It's a form of "knowing". A new spiritual awakening.
