The Waiter

Colors Purple and Red
These I do not dread
For they are beautiful to me
They represent Strength
They represent Sacrifice
But most of all, Honesty
When you combine them together
You get the shade, which is
    The Heart of Burgundy
Within each bosom
That only two can know
There are glowing embers
A muted flow
When two heartbeats meet
They don't skip a beat
So in the dark
Where quasars and quarks
Do their little thing
Remember your promise
To Honor, Love and Obey
Rebirth will begin in the spring

This poem came to me in a dream and was meant for someone I love.  The fascinating part was the waiter, who delivered the message~he looked just like Oscar Wilde.

Oscar Wilde:  " Mere colour, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways".
