Can I Go Home Now?

I was watching a movie today in which the question was asked, "can I go home now?"  This question really grabbed my attention.  I thought about it but the more I pondered it the quicker I received an answer and it was a big fat NO.   If you believe that we are here because we need to address some unfinished business (issues we didn't resolve the last time we visited) or are here to help others less fortunate than ourselves, this answer makes perfect sense.  You can't go home now because you haven't finished your assignment. 
Maybe you haven't even enrolled in class yet.  So, you could be anywhere on the track, even approaching the end but will be unsuccessful until the guy with the big flag waves you across the finish line.  This can really make you think about your life right now and the real reason you are here.    Many of us don't give this spiritual stuff much thought either because we weren't brought up surrounded by spiritual thinkers or believe it's a waste of time or the spirit realm just doesn't exist.  For those of us who have been up front and personal with the spiritual dimension, we know better but we still cannot convince a number of people.  Having said this maybe now is a good time to ponder life's mysteries one of which was just addressed--your role in this life, why you are here and your calling.    If you haven't figured out your mission yet or really haven't thought about your life in this way, maybe this blogpost will help.  Just chalk it up to a subtle reminder, a gentle nudge from the spirit realm.  A personal message to you today from the other side.  ~Get in touch!~

Hugs and Laughs

I don't know about you but boy, I need a hug.  The chaotic times we're in seem to be ratcheting up.  People are becoming unhinged.  I wonder if governments are spreading psychotropic drugs in the air through chem trails?  What better way to unsettle populations and make people go nuts than using mind altering drugs.  And, how would we know?  The paranoia descending over this planet is becoming palpable.  And, I can't stress this enough, TURN OFF THE NEWS.  Do you see anyone on any channel offering any suggestions or solutions for the crises we're seeing?  Obviously not...so I decided it was a good time to have some laughs.

I Am

Don't be afraid to be yourself.   Each one of us is born with unique gifts.  When we reach our teens we start interacting with others and begin to get a glimmer of who we are along with what we hope to accomplish in life.  We meet others who share our likes and bullies who want to tear us down.  It helps to have those close by enabling our strengths and helping us meet the challenges in life.  In order to proceed in the right direction we need to stay on course.  There are many out there who have completely lost their way because of no help or guidance from anyone.  This is a national tragedy.  Today it is a monumental challenge to raise a child because of all the underlying bad stuff they're subjected to.   Kids born today see more, hear more, learn more and do more at a much faster rate than those born in the 40s and 50s.    So what's a parent to do?   A child needs a role model, someone they can pattern their life after.  Parents are the first people they come in contact with so it stands to reason that these are the guides who will set them on the right path.   Families are a source of strength and function as a stabilizing unit.  Along with being a sanctuary, a family is a place you can go to when you hurt; a place where you can talk your problems over; a place where you don't feel threatened.  A family is there to sustain you along with providing a roof over your head, food on the table and love and discipline when needed.   Today how many kids do you see with no family, no help, no discipline, no goals and no love?    So why is it that today, more than ever, the family unit and a belief in God are under attack?  I believe because these two tools work together and are instrumental in helping a child surmount obstacles and succeed in life and there are just too many people who don't care about this.  We live in a self-centered society inhabited by self-centered individuals.  Today just like yesterday we all need a road map and a belief in something higher than ourselves.  Life can be very unforgiving at times.  We need to learn how to acquire the ability and the strength to make it through challenging times.  In order to be all that we were meant to be we will have a better chance of becoming successful if we're provided with the necessary tools.

I'm going to add something new to this blog in the hope that it will help many budding tarot readers.  It will feature a new gadget and be displayed on the right side of the web page under the name, "Talk to Me Tarot." It will feature one tarot card per week and an explanation of the card's meaning.  I will be using the Green Witch Tarot but I encourage you to choose any deck you wish.  It's very helpful to move between decks as you sometimes pick up a meaning that appears in one deck (but not another) and connects with you more deeply.   The short adjectives that are used to describe a tarot card are just that, words.  They're not going to make much sense to you unless you practice, practice, practice.  This means consulting books, maybe taking a class and starting to do readings.  After a while you will then actually start to experience a connective flow that happens between the cards and the message that it conveys.  It's pretty amazing.  How do you accomplish all of this?  Well, for me, I nearly bankrupted my account buying tarot decks that appealed to me.  It wasn't until I asked for spiritual guidance that I finally was steered toward the one deck that really resonated deep down not only intuitively but spiritually.  You can also get tired of using the same deck over and over so it's okay to use other decks as there are times you'll come across a fresh bit of information that just "pops" out at you as to the card's meaning.  Something you hadn't noticed before.  Also, when you sit down to do a reading always ask the universe for wisdom to understand the spread.  Do not be afraid to consult the LWB (Little White Book) that accompanies your deck.  I still do if the need arises.   Tarot is a sacred art and has been misrepresented by those who either have an axe to grind because they have been taught to believe it does harm and/or are completely ignorant of its origins.  What Tarot does is guide a seeker along their life path and points out pitfalls along the way.  In this way the seeker can alter his or her path by making the decisions to avoid these areas.  Tarot is a guide for all those who seek answers.  And, in many cases it also has a healing affect.  Whether it's a relationship problem you're dealing with or just asking a question, Tarot is a tool the universe has blessed us all with.

P.S.:  Each one of us is on what is known in Tarot as "The Fool's Journey"which is card 0 (the first card) in the Major Arcana.  Zero meaning void, empty space in which things have not come into being yet like right before the egg is impregnated by the sperm.  If there were no void then things could not congeal, manifest and materialize. 

There are four different elements (or energies) we all deal with throughout our lives:  1.  Air (Swords in Tarot) dealing with the Intellect, power and struggles; Water (Cups) dealing with emotions and relationships; Fire (Wands) dealing with goals, aspirations, enterprise and business; Earth (Pentacles) dealing with finances, inheritance, money management. 

The Fools Journey is comprised of twenty-two (0 through 21) Major Arcana cards and the Minor Arcana (aka The Lesser Arcana) of forty cards and sixteen court cards, (Page, Knight Queen and King).   The Pages symbolize a young child (an apprentice) either male or female approximately thirteen years old; the Knights are either male or female and are in there early twenties.  The Queen can symbolize someone you know, a friend, a relative even someone who has passed and the same with the King.

Let Me Out

I am 99.9% convinced that some human beings are comprised of more than one soul; forget the narrative that says we are all born with one soul.  I beg to differ.   How that other soul or souls enter in is something that will be debated for another thousand years.  Humans are complex organisms and psychiatrists, psychologists and psychoanalysts continue to study us but cannot figure us out.   There are countless debates and seminars dealing with why someone did something they shouldn't have but went on to do it anyway.  There are some really good and actual accounts that are documented and witnessed by psychiatrists and psychoanalysts showing people with multiple personalities brought on by trauma of some sort but they still cannot explain how these multiple souls exactly manifest in that person. Have you ever felt a part of you warning, "don't do that" while another part offers up excuse after excuse that nothing bad will happen?  That part that says go ahead and do it anyway is a separate part of you housed in your body.  It coexists with the other part trying to keep you from harm.  Then you go ahead and do what you were warned about anyway and realize you made a big mistake.  There are hidden things inside all of us we don't want others to know about.  I don't care who or what you are.  Most of these things we are able to deal with.  But, sometimes, for reasons unknown to us, we come to find out that there are other things inside that like to control us as they don't want to be exposed.  They know what will happen when they are sought out and identified.  I's like a vampire being exposed to the light.  These unwanted parasites can harbor inside us for years even lifetimes unless, and this is another subject for debate, we ourselves somehow manage to find the resolve to kick them out.  Well I'm here to tell you that hidden door unexpectedly opened for me on July 11, 2017.  I posted about what happened just a few days ago.  This past Monday, in an emotional outburst I called for help.  I poured my soul out.  I'm tired of being manipulated, I'm tired of being humiliated and I'm tired of being controlled by something I can't even see.  It's like I really don't belong to me, do you know what I'm talking about?  Many of you do as perhaps you are dealing with your own set of demons.  Well, guess what, no more am I going to allow this thing to control my life.  I'm finally taking control and instituting the measures necessary to unlock that deep dark, secretive, hidden part of me.  One of the measures is regression hypnosis so I can finally get to the bottom of this.  It's time to insert the key into the lock, open the door so I know, once and for all, what I'm dealing with.  It's time to have the courage to experience the truth, no matter what it is and whether, in some way, I was responsible or someone else.   It doesn't matter.  Either way, I win.

Spirit Happens

~In the Passage of Time, it is the Journey itself that Leads to Wisdom~

This morning I was blessed with an epiphany.  I do a morning tarot reading, asking spirit for messages and the messages that come through could be for a loved one, a friend, or for yourself, personally.  This morning, the message coming through was for me. 

Just before I was ready to do the reading something happened that brought me to tears.  

I have struggled, my entire life with debilitating fear and anxiety.  I have no idea why let alone what has caused this but have wondered the root cause as it has paralyzed me my entire life, stifling my growth and interfering with my goals.  I have no memory of anything shameful or monstrous that happened to me while growing up yet I always have an underlying gut feeling that something may have.   

This morning I was in the process of cleaning out the cat litter box in the bathroom when unexpectedly these exact words came through, "your anxiety is a mixture of anger and guilt".    What??  Dumbfounded I stood up and slowly repeated the words I had just heard, "your anxiety is a mixture of anger and guilt."  I was stunned.  I was wondering about an upcoming event and how I would control my fear and then a message showed up and let me know that I am capable of handling any situation.  Spirit showed up, penetrating through the rubble and the rabble of my life, answering a question I have been asking for years as to something that has been plaguing me my entire life.  And the answer came through just when I needed it most.  I was ecstatic and overjoyed.  A huge weight, a huge burden had just been lifted.  Thank You. 

I regained my composure.  I needed to know more about what just happened and headed to my prayer room to do my morning divination.  I asked for clarification, wisdom and guidance as I shuffled the cards.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!

Lights Out

It is late afternoon.  I look up to see the darkening sky and enjoy the softness of cool air as nightfall approaches.  The trees, towering silent sentinels, look down lovingly as I walk back toward the house.  I love the sound of the wind as it moves through the pines, the scents, the smells, the fragrance of summer grasses, shrubs and wildflowers along my path.  Somehow, though, I am feeling a loss of some kind, like something is leaving.  I don't know why.  Sometimes these feelings are a precursor to something coming so it's important to pay attention to them.  It's been another hot and humid day but there's a weather system approaching so we will get some rain.  Each day as I begin my chores I listen to the birds twittering, watch the dragonflies soaring and the butterflies alighting on flowers, the animals grazing peacefully and then watch the afternoon shadows creep across the meadows I marvel at how everything is so perfect.  It's like a symphony of harmony and perfection.  Everything is connected.  It reminds me of a beautiful tapestry that brings you ever closer to its meaning, drawing you back, time and again.  You're on the verge of a great discovery but can't quite grasp its message but you're getting close.  You stand in silence, in reverence, in wonderment, in awe, staring at it, wondering about the Universe and Mankind, Life and Death.  We are on our way to everything we ever wanted.  It is right there, just out of our reach but getting closer.  But now another day is ending,  It's lights out, once again.  Tomorrow we start all over again.  We are part of that tapestry, you and I.  We are separately filaments and fibers, linen and thread and the edges woven of gold brocade.  We are the flowing thoughts of an artistic mind.  We are vibrant yet muted colors of light and dark.  Separately we are nothing.  Separately we are lost and cry out for one another.  Separately we seek one another's company.  It isn't until all the pieces come together that we're able to be woven into the beautiful masterpiece we were meant to be.
