Defiance

Life is a fearful journey, a hardship, a constant struggle.

Whether it be gaining control over some portion of our mind or body, we're constantly faced with challenges.

Many times we just give up as we have little resolve or passion to deal with the problem.

We are not teaching our children a basic fundamental in school.

Life is Hard.

We're not providing the tools children need in which to master some of the problems they are undoubtedly going to encounter.

~ Responsibility; hard work; discernment; discipline; humility, courage and respect.

We all have had experiences where we've realized that something we're doing (or not doing) is holding us back.

Before it was down deep but now that nagging feeling just won't leave us alone.

We can decide to go on, pushing it to the back of our mind once again but then abruptly realize, one morning, we have to come to grips with the fact that we need to address the problem as it's hindering our growth.

We're all in the soup of life together.

We all have issues and weaknesses but it is worth noting that coming to grips with them makes for a more happy and healthy individual.

Once we realize that we are the Master of our souls and not the Servant, we can breathe a little easier and find within us an unused source of pride and courage.

Growth requires pain and we all shun pain.

Down here we are constantly being probed and tested.

It is like going into battle with all the gear but you still haven't met the enemy so you really don't know how you're going to react.

It's only after you're engaged in the battle do you know how it's going to end.

Deep inside you are qualities that make you who you are.

Some good, some bad.

There is an unfolding happening to us.

The more we realize that we're all on this journey together, learning about who and what we are, for the betterment of not only ourselves but for all, growing and achieving as we acknowledge our weaknesses and our fears and learning to overcome them, we not only empower ourselves but those around us.
