Say your prayers

And count your blessings

For there’s a reason why

We just don’t know what lies ahead

Maybe hello, maybe goodbye 

Things are happening

All around us, above us and to us

And only G-d knows why

Look above your heads

Then look to earth below

We’re suspended in a medium

Of constant ebb and flow

We are here for just an moment

And then it’s time to go

Look at one another,

Forget about the lies

We are fathers and we're mothers

Aunts, Uncles, Sisters, Brothers  

We better wise up

Because time’s running out

And we'll be caught in mid stroke

We've finally learned how to swim
    or we sink and then croak
