Toss and Turn

"Straight Line"  

I've walked this path before

and my feet got very sore

I'll continue to do so

Until I'm told, "NO"

in hopes of settling a score

we are all of us

blood, guts and pus

we don't know our rear end

from what's 'round' the bend

we grovel and crawl

and yell and cry foul

our eyes are blood red

our bodies hell bent

we're lost in the maelstrom

of where we came from

seeking more chaos instead of humdrum 

what good is humanity

if it can't find its fanity?

know all will be lost

as we continue to toss

upon the sea of insanity
